The Denpo story
Better tools start with understanding the work.
Denpo Products was founded by an inventor with extensive knowledge of the construction industry, designing and making the tools installers need on the job.
One man. One trade. Four decades.
He didn’t find the tool he needed. So he built it.
For more than 40 years, our founder worked construction. As a general contractor, he knew exactly where every installation lost time and where every cut risked going wrong — and he wasn’t willing to accept it. Alone, without a crew, he needed tools that could keep up. So in his own shop, from the same hands that hung the doors, he designed router templates, hinge jigs, and pocket door systems that turn slow, fussy work into fast, repeatable precision.
Every jig we sell was born from a real job, a real deadline, and a real demand: do it better, do it faster, do it yourself.
Forty years in the trade
Denpo Products didn’t start as a company. It started on jobsites — more than four decades of them. Years of framing, hanging, and finishing doors taught our founder what every installer eventually learns the hard way: the job doesn’t get easier unless someone builds the tool that makes it easier.
A contractor who built his own answers
As a general contractor, he didn’t wait for the tool he needed to show up in a catalog. He measured the problem, machined a solution, and put it to work on real installs — templates and jigs that let one pair of hands do work that used to take two, faster and with a cleaner finish every time.
Built to dream bigger — for family
Behind every jig is the reason he kept building: family. They pushed him to dream big, to put his name on what he made, and to share his inventions with the world. That’s what Denpo Products is — a lifetime of trade knowledge, handed from one craftsman to every installer who picks up one of his tools.
The trade gave him the knowledge. Family gave him the reason.
Denpo Products exists so that what one craftsman learned in 40 years can reach every jobsite. Try the tools built by a man who did the work — and never stopped improving how it’s done.
